About you.

You're an organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You have experience in business administration or a similar role and are confident managing clerical tasks, from data entry to document organisation. You’re proficient with computerised systems and spreadsheets, and you’re comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office 365 to stay on top of tasks. Whether independently or as part of a team, you excel at juggling significant workloads and customer enquiries with efficiency and professionalism. You’re eager to grow with the business, willing to learn new skills, and ready to provide invaluable support to the team and Managing Director.

Key attributes.

  • Previous experience in a business administration role or similar

  • Competent in clerical duties, including data entry and document management

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of organisation skills to manage significant workloads and customer enquiries

  • Proficiency with computerised systems and spreadsheets

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Willingness to learn and adapt as the business grows

The role.

  • Answer and manage customer enquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and routing customer calls to relevant departments when required

  • Perform essential bookkeeping tasks using accounting software, including invoicing, expense tracking and payroll (supported by external accountant)

  • Maintain organised filing systems for mostly digital documents, and utilise Microsoft Office 365 for document creation, collaboration, and scheduling

  • Provide general administrative support to the Managing Director and other departments as required

Physical requirements

The job requires a large proportion of the day working at a computer. Training in safe display screen equipment working practices would be given to the successful candidate. The position requires you to handle customer calls.
